Intrinsically safe magnetic speed transducers are applicable for reading key slots, gear teeth, or key stocks. These passive VRS transducers are rated Intrinsically Safe for use in areas that call for transducers that have limitations on the energy of any possible sparks and the amount of the surface temperature.
