Active Magnetic Speed Transducers

Our active VRS magnetic speed transducer has an integrated signal converter. The active magnetic transducer's solid state electronics deliver a digital output signal due to the transducer's coil getting triggered by a passing metal target. The digital output is read by computers, meters or speed governing instruments.

Our active VR speed transducers are found across the globe in the oil terminals, high-pressure pipeline installations, electric motors and applications with tough environments such as in mining trucks.

The benefits of the active magnetic speed transducer's internal pre-amp are: logic-level, signal amplitude output, improved signal-to-noise ratio, handles a wide spectrum of frequencies, and a greater air gap between the transducer and target. Internal temperature probes are also available for a two output model. A variety of temperature detection positions and probes are available.
