Specialized RF speed and flowmeter transducers: Intrinsically Safe to Zone 0: dual output; additional output for temperature; and sanitary and hermetically-sealed.

Our line of active RF speed transducers, RF preamps and frequency to voltage converters are also available.

Our RF speed transducers are perfect for turbine flow sensor applications that require zero magnetic drag and near zero speed detection characteristics. These turbine flow sensors have a long history of use in turbine flowmeters in the aerospace, petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.

Thunderbird International Corp's RF speed transducers are found in jet engines, high pressure installations, oil field pipeline installations around the world, as well as in the moist, corrosive and electrically noisy environments.

These RF turbine flow sensors require a remote preamp, like our 4-20mA Frequency to Current signal conditioners, to interface with computers or process control equipment. For turbine flow sensor applications that require an integral preamp with the transducer, refer to our line of active RF speed transducers.
