Intrinsically Safe RF Speed Transducers

Intrinsically Safe RF speed transducers
  • Download the Intrinsically Safe RF speed transducers spec sheet:
  • Frequency range to 5 kHz
  • Standard air gap is 0.16", depending on the target's speed and mass, thickness of meter wall and sensitivity of speed transducers
  • Temperature range: -40 to 150° C (-40 to 300° F)
  • Most popular thread sizes and lengths are available
  • Standard Shell: 303 Stainless

The Intrinsically Safe RF speed transducers are certified Intrinsically Safe (Class I, Div I and Class I, Zone 0 - code AEx [ia]) by FM Global and are CE compliant.

Intrinsically safe RF speed transducers are applicable for reading gear teeth or turbine flowmeters with low speed and low drag requirements. These passive RF speed transducers are rated Intrinsically Safe for use in areas that call for transducers that limit the energy of any possible sparks and limit the surface temperature.
